Us recordem que la data de lliurament dels balanços d'anellament de 2021 va acabar el 10 de gener de 2022.
Els anelladors que encara no heu pogut lliurar el balanç, cal que us poseu en contacte amb nosaltres a ico@ornitologia.org el més aviat possible.
Tots els anelladors, tant experts com auxiliars, que vulgueu anellar durant l’any 2022 cal que demaneu la renovació del vostre permís omplint un formulari que trobareu al següent enllaç. En aquest formulari heu de fer constar el projecte d'anellament pel qual demaneu la renovació (Sylvia, Migració, Estàndards ICO). Si es tracta d'algun projecte particular, podeu esmentar-lo. No heu de posar altres projectes que no són d'anellament (com ara el SOCC); el formulari es refereix exclusivament a projectes d'anellament!

Ja està disponible en línia el darrer volum de la Revista Catalana d'Ornitologia, volum 37 (2021). Inclou sis articles sobre els temes següents: presència del gavià argentat americà al Mediterrani, cens i distribució d'algunes espècies emblemàtiques del Parc del Garraf, dieta de l'àguila daurada al Pirineu, muda anormal d'un pardal comú a l'hivern, anàlisi de la mida de la barba de la mallerenga de bigotis i estudi de les tesis doctorals llegides a Espanya en les darreres dècades. Els socis de l'ICO que vau sol·licitar rebre la revista en paper, us arribarà durant la primera quinzena de gener.

 

The ornitho system is one of the leading online tools dedicated to the collection of naturalistic observations and monitoring data. The system is being used by more than 100 institutions (mostly ornithological organizations) in 10 different countries and, only during 2021, collected more than 30 million records from nearly 300,000 registered observers half part through one of its local online portals and half through NaturaList, its worldwide mobile app.
 
One of the reasons of the success of the ornitho system is that it counts with lots of different functions to help collect, organize and display this amazing amount of data in the best possible way, often including fine-tuned local adaptations. The ornitho project communication assistant will have a key role helping to properly document all these possibilities and to ensure that both the people that collect the field data as well as the responsibles of the different local online portals make the most of them. The selected person will be working very closely with the Biolovision team, the Swiss company that created and develops the ornitho system.
 
Specific tasks to be developed:
• On the short term, you will be asked to check and redo the structure of the ornitho wiki in English and update or write an user guide for each function (the current wiki is mostly in French: https://wiki.biolovision.net/)
• On the long run, you will maintain the ever evolving wiki to help ornitho users and customers to use the system properly and at full capacity. Therefore, you will have an  important role to play for a better use and understanding of this powerful tool.
• Regular online meetings with the Biolovision team will be needed.
 
We request:
• To know how the system work (ornitho portals, NaturaList app) and to speak and write English fluently.
• Strong interest in computer sciences and nature.
• Being well organized and autonomous, having the capacity to summarise and explain concepts easily.
• Good writing skills, basic image editing knowledge and ease at producing nice looking and easily understandable page layouts.
• Interest in working from home.
• Field experience collecting data using ornitho protocols and active user of the ornitho systems are a good plus.
 
We offer:
• A working position of 50% to 100% with a lot of autonomy.
• 100% teleworking.
• Six month contract (extendable).
• Annual gross salary: 22.560€ (in case of full time position).

Després de l'èxit del passat tour de 2021, tornem de nou a Colòmbia amb dos tours iguals, un al juliol i un altre a l'agost de 2022. Durant 15 dies gaudirem del país amb el major nombre d'espècies d'ocells del món (més de 1.900 espècies), de les quals un total de 79 espècies són endèmiques i 139 amenaçades o en perill d'extinció, però també podrem apreciar els seus espectaculars paisatges amb més de 58.000.000 d'hectàrees de boscos tropicals o la extenses extensions de páramo alpí. Tota aquesta increïble biodiversitat és la que fa de Colòmbia un dels millors indrets per a l’observació d’ocells, mamífers, amfibis, rèptils, plantes i artròpodes. Per aquest motiu oferim aquest tour d'estiu gràcies a la col·laboració amb una de les empreses més reconegudes d'aquest país, Piculet Birding, on els seus responsables, en Julio Delgado i en Felipe Anaya, ens acompanyaran com a guies locals experts, i per part nostra afegirem un altre guia, en Ferran López. Viurem en directe l'autèntica natura colombiana però, al mateix temps, estarem contribuint a la seva conservació, gràcies a que bona part del tour s'organitza directament tenint en compte afavorir el seu turisme local sostenible.

A més, cal enviar un petit informe del projecte que voleu dur a terme i que ha d'incloure els apartats següents: títol, responsable del projecte i col·laboradors, dades personals   del responsable i dels col·laboradors (nom, cognoms, dni, adreça, tf i email), localitats de l'estudi, material i mètodes, terminis (anys i duració del projecte) i objectius. No cal que sigui un informe molt extens (màxim 2-3 fulls).

En el cas de les renovacions, cal adjuntar també un petit informe amb els resultats de 2021.
